Lighting design assistance: Maison Tricard steps in from the earliest project stage — via video call or at the workshop — to translate your aesthetic vision into workable technical solutions: shapes, proportions, frame structure, light rendering.
Material research and sourcing: the workshop holds an extensive library of materials and can source specific references to match your brief — fire-rated fabrics, rare silks, natural parchment, mixed or unexpected materials.
Subcontractor coordination: for complex projects requiring specialist skills or materials, Maison Tricard mobilises its network of qualified artisan partners and ensures overall consistency.
Bespoke artisan production: custom creation in all shapes and materials, to your exact specifications.

Packaging and secure shipping: lampshades are fragile pieces. Maison Tricard takes full responsibility for their custom packaging — tailored cushioning for every shape, material-specific protections — to guarantee safe delivery anywhere in France and internationally. The specific constraints of long-distance and export shipping are anticipated from the moment packing begins.
Lighting restoration: parchment replacement (including substitution of antique pig bladder), re-covering in precious fabrics, repair or fabrication of new frames.

How It Works ? A Simple, Transparent Collaboration
1. Free consultation : via video call or directly at the workshop in Le Bugue (Dordogne). We discuss your project, technical constraints and aesthetic expectations, working from your photos and sketches. This is also the stage where we may suggest material options or design directions you hadn't yet considered.
2. Detailed quote : with a proposal of materials, shapes and finishes. Professional pricing available on request.
3. Artisan production in the workshop : careful craftsmanship, with progress photos if needed. Standard lead time: 5 to 6 weeks.
4. Careful delivery : protective packaging, shipping across France and internationally. On-site delivery possible for large orders.
The Laura Lamp: A Handcrafted, Customisable Luminaire for Your Clients
Designed and handmade in the Dordogne, the Laura Lamp is an exclusive Maison Tricard creation (registered design). A solid wood base, two vertical panels covered in the fabric of your choice: this is an elegant, distinctive ambient light that decoration boutiques, decorators and hoteliers can integrate into their projects or product range.
The three professional use cases
For decoration boutiques: add the Laura Lamp to your offering. Models are available in our online shop. You can also order customised pieces in the fabric of your choice — or in a fabric you supply — to offer your clients something truly unique. Trade conditions available on request.
For decorators and hoteliers: small, perfectly consistent batches in your chosen finishes. The Laura Lamp can be ordered in small series with complete uniformity — same fabric, same shade, same format. Ideal for entrance halls, bedrooms, meeting rooms or common areas that deserve thoughtful, personalised ambient lighting.
For businesses: your logo printed on the panels. Offering or displaying a Laura Lamp in your brand's colours is entirely possible. Having your company or establishment's logo printed directly on the panels makes it a premium corporate gift — or a bespoke reception décor element — crafted by an artisan with the Métiers d'Art label.

Nous avons proposé de conserver les carcasses, et donc les volumes, en les habillant d'un plissé à bande en tissu non-feu.

Julien souhaitait apporter une touche d'originalité dans l'une de ses salles de restaurant. Son pied de lampadaire se prêtait idéalement à une forme Fédora que nous avons habillé d'une soie sauvage James Hare reprenant les couleurs douces de cette maison typique du Périgord noir.
