The Maison Tricard workshop handcrafts bespoke fabric lampshades using the great traditional techniques of the lampshade maker: sewn, laminated, band-pleated or skirted lampshades. For each project, we select the most suitable high-end publisher fabrics — silk, linen, cotton, velvet, taffeta — in keeping with your interior and the personality of your light fitting.
Whether you are an interior decorator, upholsterer, antique dealer or private individual, we design the lampshade that perfectly suits your existing lamp base: from the restoration of an antique frame to the complete manufacture of a bespoke shape to your exact dimensions. Conical, drum, pagoda, globe, fedora, pyramidal, square Alsatian, Spanish and many other shapes are achievable.
Each order begins with a consultation (in the workshop, by video or by exchanging photos) to define the shape, fabric, finishes and exact dimensions. Lead time: 5 to 6 weeks.
